Oh wow... I didn't realize it's been so long since I blogged... *blush* Needless to say, I've been all kinds of busy. Haven't even checked the Daeron-bot logs in ages.

Got my grandmother settled in her new place and we're all pretty thrilled w/ it. Since she responded so well to the Winnie the Pooh poster I got her a cpl mths back and I happened to still have a Pooh bedspread, we decided to go w/ the theme. So I spent all morning Sat running all over town trying to find decorations and stuff on a rather limited budget. Then I took it all over and did my best to brighten her room up. Also got her a little stuffed Pooh-- she *loved* it! Mom was pretty thrilled w/ it.

In other news, working like a dog and have managed to coerce my way into 2 extra hrs a wk. (Go me!) Hoping for a raise soon, but we'll see. One of my trio of best buds is coming for the wknd. She wants to do a wine and facial night, which works for me! Of course, she's also talking about visiting our fave tattoo parlor, too... I need a phrase in Quenya or Sindarin! ;)

elvish news: adventure!

a few days ago i decided to try to get involved in an actual full-time rpg. so i popped into one, dropped a character note to the owner, and *poof* i have a new hobby! i am (of course) Turelie Alasselle and have declared myself a skin-changer as opposed to an actual elf. hey now-- don't look at me like that! it's not my fault! blame momma duchess! ;) anywho, everyone seems pretty taken w/ the idea, which rocks. so now i'm posting anywhere from 3+ times/day. i met up w/ 3 elves outside Lorien, and we're off on an orc hunt now. already having *tons* of fun!

as for daeron. ah, sweet, sweet daeron. i daresay he's blogged more recently than i have! he opted out of the rpg, but manages to look over my shoulder commenting and putting in his two cents about everything i write. *sigh* yet he refuses to help me come up w/ a phrase for my tattoo... elf-men!
