what a day... i'm still sick as a dog and achy all over, but mom insisted on dragging me out to look for curtains. couldn't really complain cuz it was for my room, to go w/ the dragon set i got for xmas. didn't find anything we liked, so she got some gorgeous deep purple material instead. enough for her to make long curtains plus little pillows for the bed. they'll really pull out the purple in the shams and comforter. *clapping and jumping up and down*

other good stuff for the day-- mom insisted i go out to lunch w/ her and dad. went to torero's, this great new mexican place. muy yummy, and only 3.95 for the lunch special (dad's treat anyway). *patting a still stuffed tummy* spent a bit of time w/ my buddy viggoluvr-- having a harry potter day tomorrow since i haven't seen/read any of them and she's got the dvds. *lol*

in other news... *looking terribly serious and sad* i'm so stressed right now. my grandma's home for the wknd and wasn't even here 2 hrs b4 i had to help dad get her off the floor. it's rough, cuz neither of my parents is in the best of health or physically able to deal w/ her-- and since i hurt my back *wincing* a cpl wks ago i'm not in the best shape for it either... but it has to be done. we're hoping the place she's going will have a room for her soon, cuz mom's taking her out of this one (w/ good reason!) for good on thurs.
