well, as u can see i finally got things more or less the way i want them. *dancing like gollum w/ the ring* tons of work and headache before i realized my geocities site apparently just didn't want to share the background. so i had to switch over to my tripod one. great big *hugz* to momma duchess for cheering me on. ;)

hm... what to say... oh yeah, sick as a dog today. feel like i've been hit by a mack truck. absolutely miserable and i just hope i don't look like i feel, cuz if so they might come to take me to the morgue any minute... *dramatic pose #7* honestly i had half a mind to just call in today, but i need the $ and don't like doing it last minute. if i don't feel better after lunch i'll probably either crawl under my desk and sleep (i wish!) or tell him i'm not gonna make it and go home. cuz of course i've been doing all kinds of stuff this morning. this is the first chance i've gotten to even sit at my desk more than a minute. frickin' laptops... *grrr*

elvish news: geneology

well, had a very interesting chat w/ momma duchess yesterday. she said she was a dragon and of course i wanted to know what she meant, cuz i thought she was an elf. turns out she is in fact half-dragon. essentially a "skin-changer" like Beorn from The Hobbit. have been neglecting poor daeron. not a good way to start things out, i know, but i've promised to help him set up a blog of his own (under the "Turelie's Elf link) so he can deal w/ the frustration. *lol* of course, any elf that can create a style of runic writing is clearly rather brilliant, so he might even have things up and running before tonight.
